Spring Concerts, 2024
Concert #1: Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
Ensembles: 6th Grade Chorus and Select Chorus
Summary: This concert will feature 4 songs from the 6th Grade Chorus, and 3 songs from the Select Chorus
Length: Approximately 35 minutes
Students in this concert should arrive at 6:00 p.m. and report to the following rooms:
Room 161 (Band Room): All 6th Grade Chorus members
Gymnasium: 7th and 8th Grade Select Chorus members
Concert #2: Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 7:45 p.m.
Ensembles: Guitar Club, 7th Grade Chorus, and 8th Grade Chorus
Summary: This concert will feature 3 songs from the Guitar Club, 3 songs from the 7th Grade Chorus, and 3 songs from the 8th Grade Chorus
Length: Approximately 45 minutes
Students in this concert should arrive at 7:15 p.m. and report to the following rooms:
Gymnasium: 7th Grade Chorus and 8th Grade Chorus members
Room 201 (Band Room): Guitar Club members
Clothing: There is much freedom concerning outfits for concerts, as long as they are dressy-looking and proper length (dresses and skirts). A colorful, but tasteful outfit is recommended. Please avoid strong-smelling hairspray, gel, or perfume as the students are rather close on the chorus risers. The stage gets quite warm, so avoid heavy clothing or suit jackets.
Girls: dresses, or skirts (not jean) and a nice top, or dressy long or three-quarter pants and a dressy shirt, and your best shoes
Boys - dress pants (any color) or khakis, any color long or short sleeve button-down shirts, your best shoes and socks, and a colorful tie
